Sarah Palin says that the USA should take tax payer money to defend North Korea from South Korea. How much more will that cost taxpayers Ms. Palin? I thought we needed to cut federal spending. So the costs we taxpayers spend to defend South Korea will be wasted on the dollars we will now spend to defend North Korea. Hmmm. We will be paying to defend both countries when they go to war against each other. Sounds like a lose lose situation to me. Sarah: "We can pay for this new war by cutting taxes to the rich!" Actually The Situation could have come up with a better solution on this conflict then Ms. Palin. Sarah Palin would make a great commander In Cheif! I'm sure it was a slip of the tongue. Look, I am not a huge Sarah fan, but the woman clearly knows the difference between North and South Korea.
And, ahem, may I remind you of the myriad and goofy gaffes that have come from that every-entertaining gaffe machine who is one heartbeat away from the presidency?
I especially love the time when Biden said that (A) FDR was President in 1929. . . uh, Joe, it was Herbert Hoover. . . and (B) that FDR spoke to the nation via TELEVISION! . . . uh, Joe, TV wasn't available for carrying presidential statements until after World War II.
Maybe Joe needs to have his memory refreshed about WWII! Hey, Joe, WWII . . . you know, that big fracas from 1939 to 1945. . . I'm sure you must have heard of it. . . after all, it was in all the newspapers!
And people complain about Sarah Palin! Joe Biden is an embarrassment, pure and simple. Obama's attempt, perhaps, to dissuade anyone from thoughts of ending his term via a man-made contingency.

AzWm hmmm William..looks like you are resigned to the fact that she will be representing you in 2012!... If I was a "moderate" Republican (anybody left of, and more educated than, Beck/Palin) I would be more concerned with Palin getting taken down..... cause that's who you've got!

Since I vote Libertarian, she would not be representing me even if she were to get the GOP nomination. I doubt she will get the nomination, but it's not impossible.
Palin says many things with which I agree. The problem with her, from my viewpoint, is that she seems to be repeating things that she has heard or read. That may be unfair. I just don't see her as being as intellectually nimble as a Newt Gingrich, Charles Krauthammer or George Will.
(Speaking of Gingrich, it would be fun watching him slice and dice Obama in a debate. Of course, it's unlikely that he would win the election, but he would mop the floor with the supposedly super intelligent Obama.)

AzWm Well the guys you listed are cretainly sharp guys who could give anybody a run for their money in a debate. Unfortunately, they will become dinosaurs for the Right. The "dumbing down" is in full swing. Why become educated when the "new heroes" either have no degree, or take 10 years and three schools to get one? Palin, Beck, Limbaugh, hannity etc. The new mantra is yee haw, you betcha, the middle finger and tweeting about American idol....Yee Haw!!!!!

There is no chance Palin will get the nomination. There is a 100% chance that she will raise tens of millions of dollars for Conservative candidates in lots of races. Obama is most surely a one termer.

I'm sure it was a slip of the tongue. Look, I am not a huge Sarah fan, but the woman clearly knows the difference between North and South Korea. What has she ever done or said that would indicate that she "clearly" knows the difference? You have got to be kidding. She is a least as informed and less likely to gaff than Biden or that TelePrompter dependent Obama. Give that kind of garbage a rest. That form of question is formed in such a way that there is no answer. It is almost like asking if you have been potty trained yet or have you learned to control that irritating lisp yet.

That form of question is formed in such a way that there is no answer. It is almost like asking if you have been potty trained yet or have you learned to control that irritating lisp yet. How true. Were Biden a Republican, he would be the target of endless attacks due to his stupid and misinformed statements. Let's not forget that Biden, supposedly a foreign policy expert, is the only bozo to come up with the idea of dividing Iraq into three separate nations, a plan, which if executed, would have had the same catastrophic results that accompanied the partition of India in the late '40s. Please note that his great plan was absolutely ignored by everybody, but especially by the Democrats, who pretended that Biden had never announced his brilliant idea. This guy has shown very little evidence of understanding the great issues of the day, and does so with great gusto, totally unaware that he is making a fool of himself. I should add that he is embarrassing his country, as well. However, he gets a huge pass due to the D next to his name. My guess is that Sarah Palin is plenty smart and her "aw, shucks" Jimmy Stewart imitation may well be a calculated strategy to win points with the vast majority of Americans who are tired of being lectured to by authoritarian and conceited north-easterners. Or maybe it's just Sarah being Sarah. In any case, one must still ask this question: Why does the Left spend so much time and effort attacking a former governor of far-off Alaska, a state with few electoral votes? Why is she the sore tooth that continues to send sharp pains throughout the Democratic Party to the extent that they cannot ignore her? If Sarah Palin is so unworthy of consideration, why does she keep showing up on their radar screen? AzWm

She is not my first, second, or third choice, but she is better than Obama by a mile.

I am an independent by the way....and other than being against a lot of things, give me one Palin policy position that is concrete and understandable.

Sarah Palin says Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke's policy of quantitative easing will lead to inflation and a devalued US currency. I think that is pretty concrete and easy to understand. Now you defend to other side of that argument from the Obama point of view.

That Federal Reserve opinion sounds pretty general to me.... did she say it first? All I am saying is that Palin is intellectually not curious, to a point that should be concerning for her party, and you guys can do better. I would consider voting for a center-Right candidate, depending on environmental policies and weather or not they believe the Earth is more than 5,000 years old.

I have posted links to the science behind Reasons to Believe. I won't waste my time if you refuse to try to understand.

Not so many years ago, we'd never have heard her name. But modern culture---and modern "thinking"---has changed everything. Well, the 30 percent or so of Americans who agree with the Tea Party like her, but the establishment certainly doesn't. Newtie can't stand her, even Barbara Bush said she should stay in Alaska, she was totally repudiated in Alaska with Murkowsky beating Miller and Scarborough wrote this today on Politico: www.politico.com/news/stories/1110/45687.html=Bob
