Same issues game after game, year after year. If Rocky Long won’t fire Jeff Horton and Blaine Morgan then I want Rocky Long fired. Rocky will never take the Aztecs to the next level and they’ve been treading water for too many years. Enough!!

This school doesnt fire coaches, it took abysmal attedence and donors/boosters writing letters to the AD to get Chuck Long removed. Hell, now that i think about it, id take Del Miller over Horton as OC.

Yes they have been hard to watch for a long time but they were winning. Until tonight they still could have gotten into the College Playoff Rankings next Tuesday. They still could have hosted the Mountain West Championship game. They still had a chance to be playing in a New Year’s Bowl game. But none of that can happen any more so yes, I’ve had enough!

There r so many things wrong with this team from play calling, stupid penalties, thinking Washington is r best running back right now. William's look like the only one that can run consistently for positive yardage. I am totally sick of this Bull$#!+ and starting to believe it's time for major changes. Losing 2 home games the way we have is utterly ridiculous!. Amazing we could be 8-0 and just as likely 0-8. Seriously can't wIt for season to b over. No bowl game please! Don't want the embarrassment of losing to Bowling Green in the Strawberry Douche Bowl.

tonight's observations: 1) lack of sideline emotion by players 2) poor clock management at the end of the second quarter in not using their last two timeouts (3rd down and 7 with 48 seconds, stop and force Nevada to punt and maybe get a field goal 3) questionable officiating calls (targeting?)

This is CA, and the administrative/academic class here does not support intercollegiate athletics. This is not true of states such as Texas and Florida. Or, for that matter, Utah. We really are the disunited states of America. The differences that separate areas such as Manhattan and San Francisco from Texas and Alabama are very deep. The varying attitude toward sports, football in particular, is only one example of the forces that appear to be tearing us apart. Frankly, I am exceedingly worried about the whole thing. AzWm |

Went to a U of DE game yesterday. Looked like Aztec bowl from 1966. My leg cramped sitting on the seat attachment to the medal bench. I am 75 and almost fell down trying to get out walking down the top of the medal seats. It was also very cold.

In the post game press conference Rocky again essentially said he doesn't know what's wrong with the offense and if he did, he'd fix it. I like Rocky and think he is good man and a good coach but can he really be that stupid? Can he really not see what so many other people see? Loyalty to Horton is one thing but this is stupidly insane! I have wanted Horton to go every since the Armed Forces Bowl when the running game was crushing Army and going in for a score to put the game away he called a pass play that was intercepted and allowed Army to come back and win.

I've been on the fence with Horton for the 1st couple of years. We has some losses even with Penny & Pumphry that I partly blamed on Horton because he refused to do anything other than run run run even though we were getting stuffed and couldn't score.
Then last year happened and It was becoming quit clear. They switched to spread formation and a more mobile QB with some designed option and might see an improvement... Same Result.
At this point, a new OC is needed. A lot of OC's are the QB coach, but it is time to let a new OC come and decide who to keep and who to replace.
