Yes Agnew hasn’t played the best football tonight but when your designed pass routes take forever to develop you aren’t helping your QB, OL and WR. You can’t have prostyle pass routes from a spread formation.

Agnew is the Mitchell Trubisky of college football....His defense and his own athleticism allow him make enough plays to win more games than he loses....but, he just doesn't see the field.... That is actually a really good comparison. |

Agnew needs to tuck the ball and run forward, he’s always running back or to the sideline

So Utah State has now surpassed us in the MWC pecking order, Rocky is doing a great job working his way down the ladder of success.
But hey, with all that talent in Utah after the Utes and BYU, and even Boise State swoop in the grab all the 5 stars, I’m sure there are tons of 4 star studs for Utah State to build a powerhouse.
Seriously, the game is leaving Rocky in its vapor trail, his stubbornness, loyalty to mediocre coaches and philosophy is never going to put the Aztecs in a position to be an elite G5 program. No chance.
He’s done a lot, but this is what we get with him here. If he retires, we may get a worse coach - especially given our typically lightweight AD and administration. But there a lot of bright, young minds out there that step into programs and make big impact.
