Utah State was/is a year ago. Queta is very raw and in for a monster sophomore year. Merrill should be back as should pretty much all there other important pieces. They add in some decent recruits including a Canadian and have good shot to land former SDSU recruit Sedrick Hammonds.

The Syracuse zone is no joke to anyone facing it for the first time or even the 2nd, 3rd or 10th. Never watched Washington play this year, but had I known they played that type of zone effectively, this would have been an easy call - USU methodical and slow, not fast and athletic enough to conquer that zone.I never felt that USU was all that good. Their long time coach Stew Morrill was right. They can't sign the good athletic recruits up there. Their new guy Craig Smith seems to be a good coach and got the maximum out of them, but their limited athleticism showed. Morrill was a excuse maker. Queta and McElwain are plenty athletic enough and they’ll be really good next year even without koby

Not enough to being a threat year after year.

WTF is it with the Schadenfreude of MW falling on their faces in the NCAA tourney??? It's literally in our best interest (ie, $$$) for them to do well.
Stupid.

These were the best teams in the conference. They outperformed our guys by a country mile. The fact that both teams failed on the big stage reflects poorly on the conference and by extension our tied for fourth place team.

USU will definitely be top pick in MW next year with their center being one of the best players

Utah State loses by 17. MGC ....one and done. Good luck getting two teams into the dance next year. Is that your statement, or are you predicting? None of us really know a thing about what will happen next season. Just like none of us knew that Utah St. was going to have such a great season this year. They were suppose to finish 9th in the MW according to the so-called media experts this year!
