I think the team only underachieved versus USD, Cal, & Brown. Then I guess you can throw Boise and Air Force in there too, but they're conference opponents who can get you on the road from time to time so I am more inclined to let those slide. The primary reasons we lost USD, Cal, and Brown were personnel problems stemming from the coach... I don't put those on Jalen. He never should've been starting and playing such significant minutes at the 5 spot Had we not lost just those 3 games (USD, Cal, & Brown) our season would be viewed a lot differently imo

agree with most of this although we can add the Fresno meltdown as another avoidable loss...

if he gets drafted, I want to see the first time king James drives on him and puts him 3 or 4 rows into the stands. and that could be said about any number of present nba players Jalen will play against. he's not ready, but overseas bb can pay some big time salaries, too. one of the enjoyment of sports is the "what ifing" we can do. what if he stays, what if he goes, what if his brother comes to SDSU, what if they play together, what if z.c. didn't transfer, what if michael cage came to state, what if the Aztecs had a by before the tournament, what if the Aztecs didn't have a 7+ minute scoring drought, etc for ever. this makes following a team fun and frustrating. and I forgot, we can say, "wait til next season."

Ok, so you want to see McDaniels fail if he gets to the NBA. Nice. Personally, whenever he gets there, I want to see him do great things, and be a great ambassador for SDSU, and to dunk on people, etc ... But, that's just me.

I would like to see him succeed in the nba, too. but, do you think he is ready at this point in his career? many of the posters on this board do not think he's ready. read back several pages and you'll see reasons why he should stay in school. Since none of us have any say in the matter, we'll all have to wait and see.

No, I do not think he's NBA ready, but I also don't want to see him fail. I want him to succeed. ditto He will have success if he can get past the legal troubles. Hopefully that can get settled out of court during the next few months and it will become one less thing competing for his attention.
