Not much, apparently. Think of the irony here. If G.W. Bush were President and acted this way, the press, and the Left in general (and no doubt some others) would be screaming bloody murder. Some may not agree with me when I refer to the President as "The One." On the other hand, is there any serous doubt that such a term pretty much coincides with how the Chief Executive sees himself? If that is a correct appraisal of Obama, it's no wonder he believes that he don't need no stinkin' reporters! And I love the author's portrait of the President's press secretary! This issue is not just one of style, however. Keep in mind that a free press is the best safeguard against tyranny. www.suntimes.com/news/otherviews/2168612,CST-EDT-open17a.article AzWm

Just another example of the actions by the Obama administration this is step by step ensuring it will not be around after 2012 and may be irrelevant after this Novembers election.

Just another example of the actions by the Obama administration this is step by step ensuring it will not be around after 2012 and may be irrelevant after this Novembers election. Bill Clinton was willing to change course when the election of '94 smacked the Dems down hard. I believe that, in general, that realism on his part was beneficial to the country. If this November's election is as decisive as '94, or even close to that, will Barack Obama be able and willing to moderate his views and policies? AzWm
