Anyone can hire a agent and comeback if they end the relationship with the agent by a certain date The tone of the article is that he’s moving forward with a professional basketball career. I’ve read or heard nothing that would indicate SDSU or any other college is even a consideration. He won’t graduate over the summer. So, he isn’t transferring

exactly unless he takes SS classes and then graduates this summer he can not transfer to a D1 school .
Also are there different rules for D2 players about having an agent .
sure seems as though SDSU as of today is not an option

Declared for the draft today. Won’t hire an agent but probably won’t transfer to Div. 1 school if he does come back.

I don't see the point in him coming back if he doesn't transfer to D1. He won't be able to show what he can do against the best competition.

Has he made a statement re: SDSU as his target school? If not I'm inclined to lock or move this thread leading us down another useless rosy path!

correct unless he signs up to take enough courses to graduate - sure looks as though he is either going Pro in some manner or remain with Pt Loma . Not likely to be an Aztec Recruit

Well, technically it doesn't say that Hommes has no plans for summer classes, just that according to the SDUT he hasn't enrolled in summer classes at this time -- "he is not believed to have registered for either of the university’s two summer sessions" Big difference. That being said, going all-in on the professional route is certainly the most likely outcome. But if the feedback he gets between now and May 29 sufficiently dampens his outlook (ie, not invited to or gets low grades at: pre-draft combines, G-league camp, or NBA draft combine), he'd still have time to enroll in summer courses to graduate and look for a season in D1 to improve his stock before going pro.

Maybe he could sign up for some courses at North Carolina. He could get his final grades before classes even begin!

Hommes has options open. But will we have scholarships? If he can get summer school out of the way & gets positive feed back from NBA, but still needs to show he can play against D1, then wouldn't be out of question to walk on for 1 season. Have to pay his own tuition and living expenses, but might be worth it if the payoff if it increases his chanced at the NBA.
