How were some of the previous sky show crowds so high? Idaho state in 04, sjsu in 05, Utah in 2006 and Portland st in 07. If we can get near any of those it will be a big deal.

You could be right, and you may be wrong depending on the two teams you mention & their record when they show up to play. New Mexico has had a winning season the past two years, and they were 9-4 last season under Davie. I expect them to do as well this coming season, and they may challenge in the Mountain Division. N. Illinois had a down year last season at 5-7, but don't expect them to remain there. The previous 4 seasons before last year they had two 12 win seasons ( '12 & '13), and 11 wins in 2014. Phil Steele has them on his Most Improved list, and believes they will bounce back to form this year. You never know. Plus, there are many people who don't care about shopping on Black Friday due to the crowds & possible danger, so they may enjoy going to a football game very much.

Wonder how many walk-ups we normally have. I'm going tomorrow to pick up 22 tickets.

The other black Friday hurdle is the bball team plays that afternoon in Anaheim, so that will pull Aztecs away as well.

Only a couple alumns, most not even football fans, just friends who enjoy a good tailgate.

What this program needs is a stadium that seats 22,000 people.

Team hotel where events are at is in Anaheim next to Disney. A lot of people will be heading up for that, especially if we play Georgia in the semi's. We'll be leaving football game around halftime to make the trip.
