Don't expect it to be 85 at 8pm in Tempe unless the high for the day was 100 or less. It could be closer to 90-95 if the high for the day is over 110.
They do have a beautiful video screen at the stadium, and it is about the same width as the football field! They won an award for having the best technology experience at football games for 2017. With the $$$ they spent on it why wouldn't they win the award?

Are you familiar with the seating at sun devil stadium? I'm looking at sitting on our 50 but I see that there are only two levels of seats. Do you know how the view is on the upper level? You're talking to the wrong guy. I've never like view seating in any stadium. : ) They just remodeled the stadium and the sight lines weren't horrible before, so I'd imagine they wouldn't be any worse now. Definitely better than the Q!! I'm with you. I bought a lower level ticket for $65. No sense in making the trip and sitting view.

Just FYI, if you want to sit near the SDSU section & don't have a high enough Aztec Club ranking to know you'll get great seats, there are plenty of seats nearby for $5-$10 under face value available on Stubhub. Obviously support SDSU if you can....
Good tix to the Diamondbacks/Padres game are available for cheap as well. Lots of good tix available if you're interested.
Travel (car/gas), Hotel next to stadium (2 nights), game tix & SDSU pregame for 2 all for less than $600. Doing a Mill Ave pub crawl vs. Padres game Friday night. : )
Only 6 weeks from today!

Went to the ticket office earlier and the Aztec sections are in 24 and 25 in the lower level ($30) and 238 and 239 in the upper level ($20). Tickets to be allocated via the usual priority level distribution.

None of the seats ASU gave SDSU are "great" seats no matter your donor priority level. Rather than drive why not take our package and let the bus driver do the driving while you (not coug) sip on a cold one of your choice? I can guarantee our tickets will be at least as good if not better than others. If you want 50 yard line on either side or level I have those available as well. Our hotel also is providing daily breakfasts for all and we're not too far from the Bass Pro Shop in case you're into that sort of thing.

Appreciate it, but like having my own car to make trips to my favorite restaurants or in case I want to golf Saturday somewhere other than Karsten. Plus, now leaning towards going Thursday. : ) Agree, Aztec sections are #24 & #25, lower level ($30), so #25 isn't bad if you're in the 1st 5-6 rows or so. We bought tickets right next door (#26) for $22 - where I typically sit for all the games I go to there. Close to visitor section but slightly better angle (& usually more room). Love staying within walking distance to Mill Ave & to the stadium, so trying out the newest hotel within 2 blocks of each (although fish shop is tempting I'm sure). Friday night is Mill Ave Pub Crawl rather than Pads (if it was just me it'd be Pads). : ) Maybe next time. This time just didn't mesh. Appreciate the bus option though - set those up a few times for WSU games vs. UCLA/USC. Fun time, and stress free. Highly recommend it. I'm sure you'll have a good time!

Our key is that we can drink all the way to Arizona and back if we choose, which is a norm for most Aztec fans I know. Plus no wear and tear on our own vehicles or the possibility of taking a rock from a 18 wheeler in the front window as has happened to my girlfriend's vehicle twice to/from Spring Training. There's UBER or Lyft while there if one needs any additional rides. Hotel has shuttle for 5 miles and our bus will be our transportation to/from both games. If someone wants better tickets than what we're providing for either game they can ask and I'll get them. Ya can't make everybody happy all the time.
