Hmmmm, smart & athletic QB transitions to DB at SDSU and goes on to NFL career... I think I've heard this before! you are aware of our most recent experiences with "athletic" quarterbacks, right? This kid looks like he'd be incredible on the offensive side of the ball. I don't think we move him to D.

Many years ago a high school player had a full ride to Miami when it was one of the TOP FB programs in the country. As a HS D-back the legend was that he intercepted 11 passes as a senior and returned 6 for TDs. Had pretty impressive offensive stats, too, but his size was perfect for a college DB and not optimum for an RB.
Declined the Miami offer because SDSU said that they would let him run the ball. Turned out to be a pretty good decision for Marshall Faulk.
Give Cedarious the ball, please.

Is the league he plays in in Texas worth a damn? If so, wow.

Is the league he plays in in Texas worth a damn? If so, wow. It's division 6A, which is the highest I think. But he's in El Paso where competition might not be as good as other parts of TX. Not sure though. But he's legit regardless.

Cedarius belongs in the long line of Aztec RBs that were not "Big enough" to run the ball @ the D1 level: Ronnie Hillman, Juwan Washington, Donnell Pumphrey, Marshall Faulk....
