He certainly wouldn't be everybody's first choice but at this point I wonder how choosy we can be. At least San Diego is a whole lot more like the Bahamas than Oxford, Mississippi or Lawrence, Kansas.

tore his ACL and had hard time in recovery . Would guess KU told him his PT would be limited ( and maybe HC thought they could find better use of his scholarship )
KU does owe us something as they "stole " a player few years ago .

Bill Self laid an offer on Kevin Young at the 11th hour of recruiting and I'm pretty sure Young de-committed from SDSU, packed his bags and headed for the Lawrence hog pens. I think Steve Fisher got over it when his AZTECS beat the Jayhawks in Phog Arena and destroyed their home win streak. Feel free to correct this or add more info! That is all!

First and for most - try to get Coleby here for a visit - to see if he is a fit for SDSU ?
Would be nice if Coach Self would assist and tell our coaches about his abilities
Young: 8 months earlier Young had signed a Financial Aid Agreement with SDSU that binds the school not the athlete- so we had "passed over" other recruits . Then in the spring he decided to De commit and Kansas just so happened to be there with a scholarship .

He is looking at mid - majors - L- Monroe , Western Kentucky , Stephen Austin , Little Rock -- can we make a call to see if he is interested ?

Same Young who started for KU and played deep into the NCCA's that year, bit better than the Aztecs did...

Big Fish, little pond with a few exceptions. Former Kansas staff member Kyle Keller is the head coach at SFA and he says he is competing with SMU, Mississippi State, Illinois, Louisiana-Monroe, Arkansas-Little Rock and Western Kentucky for Coleby's services.
Given his time at Ole Miss and Kansas, he would be solid for 20-25 minutes a game.

Believe SMU and IL are also trying to sign another top grad transfer at the 5 Akoy Agau . Would not mind seeing our name added to the list for both guys , not knowing what K. Rooks will do

Akoy Agau is close to deciding on SMU over Maryland and Old D . Looking for a team that needs help down low on both ends of the court . Also wants a college that has a quality Business School . He may also be getting 2 years to play rather then just 1 . Family originally from Sudan as was Angelo Chol 's .
Definitely worth a phone call .or follow as would guess our coaches have been doing a lot lately
Toss in another Walter Foster - Townsend - 22 minutes - 5.5 points - 5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game in 15-16 season . Did not play 2016-17 season

Colbey says "he’s considering Western Kentucky, a school he visited earlier this week, Louisiana Monroe, Arkansas-Little Rock and Stephen F. Austin. Creighton, Georgia Tech, Illinois and Seton Hall also have shown interest, Coleby’s longtime coach, Darrell Sears, told the Bowling Green (Ky.) Daily News on Thursday. “Thinking of the whole process and going through it again … it’s been tough,” Coleby, who is from Nassau, Bahamas, told The Star. KU has big men in Udoka Azubuike, Billy Preston, Mitch Lightfoot and graduate transfer Jack Whitman. www.kansascity.com/sports/college/big-12/university-of-kansas/article151412577.html
