getting back to Vance . As Aztec coaches have said Not every recruit or transfer is a match for SDSU . Especially if he wants to focus on scoring because he was not used correctly by his coaches at UConn .

Dont forget, James Johnson who was a four-star prospect rated the No. 8 center in the class of 2010 by Scout.com, he chose UVA over Arizona, Cal and Oklahoma. Then transferred to SDSU before he grad transferred to Liberty College making room for AQ.

Name the last P5 guy that has transferred that was a 5 star recruit out of high school OK, so when you are wrong, you just modify your post and change the question? Evan Burns (name could be spelled wrong).

Evan Burns (name could be spelled wrong). You are correct... There are only a hand ful of 5* prospects and most of them are one and done so they don't transfer but move on to the NBA. That was a ridiculous post.

Wouldn't the list be shorter if we identified transfers (scholarship not walk-on) who were NOT from P5 schools?

What's also funny is 5* high school recruits almost never transfer - there's rarely more than one or two per year.

Just looked at that list and saw that Moore from Cal is #1. Kid is a pretty damn good player, I can't say I'm surprised since his coached was fired but that is quite a loss.

Family illness; going back to be close to Chicago & family. Could get a waiver & be eligible immediately. Huge loss for Cal. They have Lee & a few good FR coming in, but they're going to struggle big time this year.

Believe Moore is going to go to Kansas - is closer to Chicago but also a basketball decision ?. To go with other Kansas transfers . CAL does take a hit this year with his leaving and others , Coach leaving ..... major competition in the PAC . Do we play them this year at home ?

Yea, he's not going to get a special circumstances waiver going to Kansas. Not quite close enough to Chicago to quality. Last I heard Cal is still on the schedule. Lee & Okoroh are big bodies, but we matched up well with them last year & would expect to match up very well with them this year, especially at home.

Never turn away talent! SDSU trying to get/stay in the mix for the 6'8" SF Vance Jackson.
Jackson will now visit Washington over Mother’s Day Weekend and will also visit Baylor sometime in June. San Diego State is also in the mix.
“We’ll end it out with Baylor somewhere in June but we might do something in between that,” he said.
“San Diego State is trying to tippy toe in and if we have time we might go down there and check them out.”
