Pretty rough on Clinton and Bush, but absolutly brutal on Obama.

I'm sure that some will be unhappy with the take on Clinton and Obama. In the case of the former, it's clear that Ol' Bill's sexual self-indulgence prevented him from doing many good things that he might otherwise have done. As for the latter, it's too bad that a little voice in the back of his mind did not say to him, "Don't you think that you are just a bit too inexperienced to be President?"
Peters is exactly right in his appraisal of Clinton's and Obama's motives in seeking the presidency. I'm not so sure that W had longed to ride in Air Force One to the degree the others did, but who knows.
The bottom line, per Peters, is this; excessive ambition is probably not the best pre-requisite for the office of President of the United States. Certainly in the case of Obama, the road leading to the Oval Office has been just a bit too easy.
