I really liked the sound of "Lakalaka Noa Lakalaka." They belong together on the field...

Horse, barn door. Does it matter after the fact? It's over! If I was the HC and I was recruiting him, then I would want to know why he left so we don't lose any more players like him in the future, especially to a rival school in our conference. .

I think i recall Roxky talking about the types of kids he wants playing here. Perhaps noa was one of the types he passes on.

We DEFINITELY wanted Noa; he wouldn't give our coaches the time of day. Had no interest in us at all. Think he wanted to get out of town, which is understandable.

Think he wanted to get out of town, which is understandable. Looking forward to playing Boise next season. How's this scenario. Noa redshirts (believe he was injured this year & probably needs a year to develop anyway), but stands on the sidelines as the Aztecs pummel his Broncos in front of his family/friends. Goes back for his RS FR year, only to see us beat him again in 20 degree weather while he plays on STs. Decides after his RS FR year he'd rather leave the frozen tundra of Boise behind & comes crawling to our coaching staff for a chance to transfer, RS again, & play his final 2 years here. We pause before getting back to him....... : )

Bottom line SDSU offered and he preferred to go to another school . He is moving on and so should we . Believe we signed numerous guys from other areas . Should Lakalaka have stayed in Hawaii.? The guys from Vegas area ? or .....

Let's be careful here. According to several teachers at Helix that I know real well, Zeke Noa is a really good kid., no issues with him at all. Also ,he has a younger brother who is a freshmen this year and also potentially a talented football player. Let's don't burn any bridges.
