Watson can ball. He can shoot, score, and is quick. What separates him from our current and former guards is his ability to create looks for his teammates. I am hoping that Hemsley improves a lot this year, as many sophomores do. He's gotta really come a long way to be our first point guard next year. Watson is the real deal. If Hemsley pushes for that spot next year, the Aztecs will have a ridiculously talented back court next year. They are going to be really good either way.

a high quality recruiting class is one that signs high quality players especially those who play the positions we will need to fill for the next year or the following . We have Valentine leaving ,plus Dakari, Matt , D Williams , have filled the 3 guards now the player who could play the 5/4 . also very possible Malik's spot that to could be filled .

This year they also signed 6'9 Connor MacDougall. The Former Arizona State big man had high-major interest before committing to the Lobos. This should be a great insurance policy up front for Craig Neal behind both Tim Williams and Obij Aget.
Lobos adding front court depth.

No it doesnt. We don't recruit for a "5" position at all due to scheme / philosophy and we get lots of great "4" players for our system. That's not true at all We recruit the 5. They just don't come here. |

I don't think SDSU & Fisher have really done all that well recruiting 5's. Most of the 5's he's found to play on The Mesa have been transfers, Y/N??
