50+ mph winds forecast from 9 P.M. to 9 A.M. Trees probably coming down along with power lines and power outages! If you are living on the Atlantic coast of Florida right now, 50 mph winds sounds like a nice summer breeze. Time for both coasts to batten down the hatches.

As usual, the wind didn't hit the projected speeds or endurance here. All we had was rain from 8 O'clock on and the winds didn't kick up until 06:30 and 35 MPH seems like it! I'll take it, who needs downed trees and power outages with an AZTEC game tomorrow night! As for FLA, all I know is my family in Hobe Sound and Stuart were spared the high winds and any real damage. It looks like my brother and I came out even, nothing but leaves and debris to pick up when/if it dries out! Praise The Lord and pass along the 4* recruits!

It looks like my daughter in West Palm Beach also missed the brunt of the hurricane.

High winds up there can leave a real mess with fallen trees and all.
