Well the fight is upon us. Thoughts and comments?
I'm picking Pacquiao with a TKO in the 7th.

Watching 24, Margarito looks terrific in camp. Truly. But, I am convinced enough in the speed difference to pick Pacquiao by 10th round TKO. I am much more stoked for Paul Williams-Sergio Martinez part II the following Saturday, Nov. 20th. Their first fight was an absolute slug-fest, fight of the year. No reason to expect any different from the rematch. Paul Williams, the most avoided man in boxing. Even better is it's not PPV, but free on HBO. At least, from what I intepreted from the advertisement. That's the date of Utah-SDSU, so I am going to have to DVR it and watch it when I get some from our upset win over the Utes.

I agree Josh, Margarito looks in tip top shape and I am a little worried that Manny has too much on his plate right now.
Williams-Martinez sounds like a good one.
I know its wishful thinking but I am still holding out hope that *****weather will man up and get in the ring with Manny.

If Margarito fights with no plaster in his gloves, Pac-Man wins by TKO somewhere around round 8 or 9.

I was pissed that the bottom fell out of that fight. Mayweather has more pressing issues at the moment. These charges against him, 8 counts, are very serious. We think of Nevada as a playground, but their criminal justice system is tough. Look at the sentence OJ got. He's already 33, he is approaching an age where a fighter known for speed and defense starts to decline (see: Roy Jones). Hell, any type of fighter. Even if he only does a couple of years in the clink, he's worthless when he gets out, for all intents and purposes. Odds are Manny could/would be retired by then. He better be praying for a good plea deal, given all the good he does in the city (his charities, including feeding homeless and kids, are well documented).

Yeah, that's pretty pathetic. Stay classy, Antonio.

What an ass....and I used to like Margarito before the Cotto fight.
Boy was I wrong about his character.

Margarito's a cheating scumbag who didn't deserve this fight. But since he did get this fight t'm picking pacquiao winning with KO in the 5th. BUT since that video of him making fun of Freddie Roach surfaced i'm now thinking pacquiao winning with KO or TKO in the 12th. Pacquiao's gonna want to make him suffer after seeing that.

Didn't check the times but the weigh-in's are tomorrow, friday. That in itself should be interesting. Maybe Roach and Margarito will duke it out then.

just a terrific fight... Pacman classy all the way. Lots of guts by Margarito. One or two more fights for Pacman and then i think he should hang them up....as an all time great.

Amazing performance by Pacquiao against someone who was 16 pounds heavier than him come fight time. It now appears that Margarito suffered a fractured orbital bone. His trainer or the referee should've stopped the fight for Margarito's own well being.

Predictable result, except in the 12th. Pacman hit Margarito from every available angle, using his speed while Margarito just floundered around like a lumbering dinosaur. Pacman's got class alright, Margarito's a cheater, trash-talking, makes fun of people with disabilities.. No one would've blamed manny for finishing him off and quite literally decapitating Margarito in the 12th. But he gave Margarito a break and pulled his punches. Pacs got nothing but class. BRING ON MAYWEATHER!!!
