In case you skipped it... pajamasmedia.com/instapundit/109001/Hmmm.. ok, the Left is begging you to run Palin or Bachman etc. in 2012. Ever wonder why?? The "left" has been shown to be the "emperor with no clothes". Their agenda has been rejected. So who cares? Ever wonder why?

What can the Republicans really do with Obama in the White House and Democrats still running the Senate? It's still the Democrats in charge, folks... (The Repuliblicans will be able to apply the brakes a little, that's all.) Wonderful. Now that the right wing kooks have been elected, the right wing kooks on this board, and the rest of the ones in the country, have a wonderful excuse not take any responsibility and keep blaming the democrats. OK, you tell me - what can the Republicans do with President Obama in the White House and Democrats in control of the Senate? Seriously, how can they push through legislation that the Senate will approve and that the President will sign? They can't change course - the Senate and Obama will see to that.

I have just been watching the incoming GOP leadership trumpeting how they are going to do this, that, and the other. I'm watching to see what they do. Why would Obama and the Senate change course? They were not elected to be republicans. The GOP did not compromise when they were swept out of office in 2008. I see no reason for the the Senate or the White house to bow down.

Which is exactly my point. Democrats said the exact same kind of things in 2006 ("We're going to make big changes," etc), but they weren't able to change course, either. That's just politics.

I am sick of both partys putting 'politics' and allegiance to the party before the good of the country.
