Some are just that way. You are the one who made it a generality, not me. I find that conservatives frequently misquote. I am sure it must be so much easier to respond if you can make up words to put in other's mouths. I am happy to point it out when you do. Conservatives misquote? Gee, liberals NEVER do that, right? And they NEVER call conservatives mean spirited, angry, homophobic racists, either, right? Are you saying there are no mean spirited, angry, homophobic racist conservatives? Really? I was pointed out that you were misquoting me. Care to respond to that?

Conservatives feel that "the other" is a direct threat to what they are desperately seeking to keep, though. But, they think liberals like me are a direct threat to them as well. As for Temple west, well, I think he is from Philadelphia. And that explains a great deal.
