Go sit in the back of the bus Obama. You have failed to lead. You have failed to unite. You are a failure.

In a little more than five hours in the state, Obama was booked for a factory tour and for a pair of fundraisers that party officials said would bring in $500,000.
He said Republicans had driven the economy into a ditch and then stood by and criticized while Democrats pulled it out. Now that progress has been made, he said, "we can't have special interests sitting shotgun. We gotta have middle class families up in front. We don't mind the Republicans joining us. They can come for the ride, but they gotta sit in back."news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20101025/ap_on_el_pr/us_obama

I am really tired of that kind of thinking.

You don't sit in a pew of Rev Wright's Church and hear him spewing hatred toward whites for twenty years wthout some of it rubbing off.

Go sit in the back of the bus Obama. Really? Reported to mod for over the top racist comment. you guys have not figured this out by now? When Obama makes the statement he is speaking his mind and we are all to accept it or we are racist for questioning him. When someone on the other side of the aisle makes the same statement they are racist. Typical Liberal thinking, we will say what we want and you will deal with it but if you do it we will call you a racist and run to the moderator to complain.

If Obama can say it, why can't someone else? Isn't that a double standard?
And one comment was a joke, while Obama's came off as rather angry.
I will say this - please be careful to make sure that you don't come across as blatantly racist (even if that's not what is intended). Hell, I know that just about no one on here is racist and no one intends posts to be literally racist (sarcasim gets lost on message boards sometimes).
Just think about how it comes across.
In this case I think it was a clear reaction to what Obama said.

Yeah, the double speak that goes on here with the tired explanation of "Well he said it", while purposely taking the comment out of context is absurd.

On the other hand it may be some conservatives still think "the darkies" should be sitting in the the back of the bus, up in the balcony, using the "colored" bathroom, not being seated in public restaurants, not being allowed to vote. You know, the good old days?

It's all you have anymore. Racists, homophobes, bigots, misogynists, haters, crazies, right wingnutz, Nazis, and on and on and on..... It's running out of steam, but it really is all you have left. We've heard it all, and it is being recognized for the desperate, pathetic joke that it is. Again, just in case you missed it: pajamasmedia.com/instapundit/109001/

(So conservatives are just ineherently racist? Backwards thinking neanderthals? Come on...)

I find that conservatives frequently misquote. I am sure it must be so much easier to respond if you can make up words to put in other's mouths. I am happy to point it out when you do.

Too funny! The left has spawned program after program where people have to prove their fraction of ethnicity to gain the benefits. It is as stupid and outdated as the rule of male primogeniture but they lap it up while calling everyone else racists for noticing that they are enforcing and codifying racism.
Obama calling the GOP to get in the back of the bus.....That's OK. He can do that since they are "equal" in the field of political battle.
But jokingly call out Obama to get to the back of his same bus after his shellacking...Oh no - I guess some people are "more equal" than others.

Conservatives misquote? Gee, liberals NEVER do that, right? And they NEVER call conservatives mean spirited, angry, homophobic racists, either, right?

I'm sure that they are out there but I've NEVER met a person who identifies himself as a 'liberal' who also was openly racist. However, I've met many 'conservatives' who are not only racist but proud of it. There are some in my own family.
