Schakel plays at Bishop with Ethan Thompson who is Stevie Thompson's younger brother. Thompson was on the Aztec recruiting list but committed to OSU when his father was named Asst Head Coach. Spot on, hope we get this guy. Unfortunately his 4.3 GPA has me thinking he will eventually be leaning towards schools like Stanford, Vandy, Cal... He mentioned Cal and Stanford as two teams recruiting him hard in november Cal has a verbal commitment from '17 SG Jermal Baker another ex-Aztec recruit, Stanford is wide open; however, it doesnt look like either school has made an offer. |

I watched Stevie Thompson play as well, Ethan has more potential. But, you never know unless you ask, or in this case offer. |

McCoy 7'0 C - Cathedral
Ayton 7'0 PF - Hillcrest Prep

Pipe dream or not, the thought of these three deciding to play together in college (at SDSU) is tantalizing. How good could we be in 2017? We would be a juggernaut and we would be highly ranked starting in the preseason. |

offers are great , Aztec coaches will be all over the country attending the various events with some very big weekends in July for evaluation periods . Then the true measure comes into play , what guys can the coaches line up for visits ?
