Govt. ownership of automakers: a critical look.

I, and many others, have made this point before. Namely, it is a bad idea for the government to own private firms, especially when the govt. also has a responsibility to regulate those firms. Here's another look at that, with emphasis on one of the unintended consequences of Obama's folly in this area. . .

I have seen several variations on the theme suggested in this piece. Government has clearly overstepped it's bounds and area of expertise.

And another piece along the same lines as those of the one in my initial post. There is no getting around the fact that Obama has made some very, very questionable decisions. And the way I phrased that can only be thought of as charitable.

(And if readers think I am being unfair to our President, I urge them to state clearly where I, and the authors of these two articles, are going wrong.)
