Aztecs Win At CSU......Very Important Win

On the surface it looks like a game that we should have won and a game that doesn't mean much.....Not so.

-We lost a tough home game last week to the #12 team in the nation by 2.

-We go on the road to play a team that is playing well in CSU. And they are 3-3 in conf. and this may have been their most important game of the year. If they can beat us, they go 4-3 in conf.

-On the road in the MWC. Always tough.

We came out and played well (not in every area), but well when it counted. Down the stretch and in the second half.

This win puts us at 15-6 with Air Force at home next week and a chance to go 16-6. I am not sure if any team in Aztec History has started a season 16-6.

A win vs Air Force will also put us at 5-3 in conf. and on a 2 game winning streak going into The Pit.

Nice win for the Aztecs....Important win for the Aztecs.

I agree on all points. I think CSU was 9-1 in their last 10 games at home. They very well could have had a let down after the emotional BYU game, but didn't. A very, very, good win on the road.
