Do not know if the coaches have heard anything from recruits who have gone to other schools . Doubt it. NCAA situation is not positive in any way , how much of a factor ? if at all was it? when recruits selected other schools ? It is out there , hurts and we have no idea of the what we are being accused of doing. It did not help SDSU , how much did it hurt ,? will we ever know ? Was it a factor for Cage, Melton ,Mathews , Hands ..... ? Stanback ? Leaf? Also how long will it be out there and effect recruiting for SDSU ? Can SDSU administration do anything or do we hang in the wind ?

You can bet there were tweets and messages sent almost immediately when that cr@p story broke to every recruit that had some interest in committing to SDSU!

We all know it was happening by any school that was competing for any recruit..
This is an area that I would hope the SDSU President tries to find out what he or the administration/lawyers can do to get some answers from the NCAA . Hard when NCAA has so much power but do think he needs to totally investigate every thing they can do.

The nc2a is entirely responsible for the leak. As the top SDSU prospects quickly sign with other schools it is really hard to believe that this did no damage.
Sue the bastards.

Right now I'd be super excited with just landing Stanback, a midyear transfer and in the summer a graduate transfer. If Stanback is smart (which he is since he has a 4.0) he'd see that he could be a starter as a freshmen for a team that is always in the Top 25 and in the NCAA Tournament. Immediate minutes at a successful program doesn't come around that often.

Jonah Matthews to USC! The SDSU President needs to pick up the phone and call the NCAA and ask them WTH they are doing about the leaks in their organization! This recruiting year looks to be hosed and there is 1 big loud mouthed reason: The NCAA!

This is a scenario where the president at SDSU needs to work every angle possible to get as much information from the NCAA as possible . Ruining the recruiting for this year and who knows how many other years ,going forward . Very similar to already being punished as we are losing recruits . So instead of 13 could have 10 for 2016 . or less if guys would be allowed to transfer out . Also if we are left hanging there , could also affect grad transfers or even JUCO. since we have no clue what we are being accused of possible penalty and when it could take place . Do not think it can move fast enough to be 2015 but it could hit 2016 or any year after that or multiple .

There is no official NCAA investigation, just a twitter post by a reporter. These post are like a old women worries, don't you think the administration is doing everything they can to minimize the situation and prevent any real investigation to ever occur. The "best case" scenario is never to have any NCAA investigation become official, ie no further news.

This is the real situation. Somebody leveled an accusation of impropriety regarding our beloved Aztecs to the NCAA. The NCAA then does an informal inquiry into the accusation. Then someone, most likely the original accuser, contacted the media to inform them that someone made a complaint with the NCAA and that the NCAA is investigating the program. So, basically somebody yelled "the house is on fire!" And then informed the media the fire department is responding to a possible fire. This is utter garbage.

Even if you commit a horrendous crime they have to bring you into court and let you know what you are being charged with .or are we just being held as an important person of interest - to hang twist in the wind .?

Like most good nationally ranked programs, you take your hits and move on. That's all you can do. Good programs bounce back.

The punishment of the Aztecs has already begun; prior to any charges being made.
Does this nc2a blunder seem to be more than a little unfair?

Correct we are already being penalized for something we have no clue what was done or by whom . Do not know how long we hang in the wind . We have not added a recruit after the NCAA situation . All recruits signed before .routine or ?? Just when we were getting quality recruits from HS level and now back to the transfer Difficult to continue to build a program with out quality HS talent , especially when facts are not revealed . and if you are no a P5 school. In our court system you are told what you did , even in NFL they present information . Not exactly due process . This is a case where our President needs to see what he can try to do through administrative or legal procedures .

SDSU has just recently pulled itself up by it's bootstraps to begin walking with the nationally ranked programs. This B.S. plot has basically cut SDSU & it's recruiting off at the knees! Just when SDSU was beginning to attract 4* & god forbid 5* players attention this stink bomb goes off and now it may be back to 2*s & 3*s! This was & still is horse cr@p! JMO
