What are the prospects for Syria? And for the region? Not very promising, I'm afraid.

It is very hard to try to sort out the situation in Syria. There are so many players and issues that are at cross purposes. It is so very complicated and I can see no happy end for either Syria or for the Countries that will try to absorb the refugees.
