I grew up in Monterey Park but left before the Asian invasion.  I find it hilarious that the Taiwanese are complaining about the uncouth 'mainlanders'.

I hear you. Don't know how many times I have been grossed out by manners and mannerisms that are not normal to us. I did put this in the Off Topic area so I would not get accused of racism. Much as I enjoy that back and forth it gets old saying the same things from a couple of really thin skinned posters or posters who just want to go all in on the BS. You and I differ on most things but I think we see what is going on most of the time.

Interesting. I was born in Monterey Park. Garfield Hospital, dunno if it still exists. Family lived on the 700 block of West Graves.
