Yes Win, this one has been around for a while. Nice job by these guys. Freeing a whale that's been wrapped is one of the most dangerous things you can do. A very famous underwater cameraman was almost killed trying to free a gray whale in the late 70's. He was on SCUBA and his gear got tangled in the net. The whale was sounding and he was able to free himself by dumping his tank and backpack at the last moment. Of course you need a sharp knife that can cut through 1/4 inch polyprop. very quickly.. and guess how many times you get to drop that knife if you get wrapped and the whale decides to go?? Sounds callous, but if I find the same thing I probably keep driving! After all, I've made it to 61 and would like to extend the voyage. However, if the whale is already dead and the right kind of sharks are eating it, then I'm probably in!!
