I rarely watch O'Reilly, as I am sure is the case with most right ringers. He gets a million or so viewers a night, so most don't watch. But, the Juan Williams NPR war, had me tune in to hear Juan Last night. And yes Waztec, you correct, days ago I was not a Juan fan.
O'Reilly announce that Juan has signed a long term deal with Fox, including hosting the O'Reilly Factor on occasion. And O'Reilly has made it his mission to de-fund the Water carrying Left Wing Radical NPR, (That just accepted $1.8 million) from George Soros.
NPR is toast. LMFAO. ;D

So O'Reilly can say what I can listen to or watch on TV. Hitler did the same thing with German media. I saw we go after O'Reilly and keep our freedom here in the USA.

O Reilly operates in the free market. NPR wants to Dictate what you hear and listen too, and they are subsidized by the Government Like Adolph Hitler was. Hitler has arrived in the USA in the 21st century, dressed in Birkenstocks, with a butch granola haircut, and as a Female. He is the face of NPR.

Actually, the Chinese must be loving the far Left and the far Right in America right now. It'll be easier for the later take over. The Left can push marijuana legalization so the "hippies" and old right wingers with hip replacements can stay stoned all day..and the Right can continue the assault on the educated "elites", the scientific community and educational radio and TV.... Sarah Palin radio... you betcha.

I guess I am just getting bored with the whole Right/Left arguments on here. www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,2026776-1,00.html This is at a time when gridlock could really screw us in the long term.. I thought this was a great article about possible solutions... but it would take cooperation, vision and compromise in politics. Not likely to happen anytime soon.

Lots to think about. I agree with most of the content and suggested solutions, but am skeptical about some other ideas expressed. I like the idea that government can change law and regulations to encourage behavior, but think that too much direct government involvement is advocated. All in all, very interesting and I would encourage people to read the entire article including some of the comments offered.

It is for the most part boring on here. There just are not enough of us to get much controversy flowing back and forth. Hell, I can not get anybody to post on the Economics topics, and they are damn good ones. Maybe I ought to become an ultra conservative again and put you guys all to the left of me. We could hook a whole bunch of novices in thinking that I am earnest in my horrific biases. I think I will go and remove my response to that AztecJoe are you serious? question. Let the novices guess.

Joe, you would get more comment and discussion if your posts were not viewed as trying to get people to make informed comments on often bizarre ideas like your troll view on debt.

Win, it is not a troll view on debt. I am very serious. They create the money out of thin air and they can dispatch the debt into thin air, too. Are you really saying they can't when all they have to do is snap their fingers to do it? Why do you think they do not charge us any interest on the Bonds and Notes that they hold? Would you really believe that an imaginary bank that has the power to create cash out of thin air to buy anything and everything it wants to for the benefit of the United States will refuse to dispose of the imaginary money when doing so would be for the benefit of the United States as well? ? Their entire charter is "For the benefit of the United States."
