Historically (i.e., Up the about a decade or two ago), when the cops on a TV show wanted to get a guy, they would send out an APB (all points bulletin). Now I am hearing the term BOLO (be on the look out) used quite a bit. I think I still hear the former used on cop shows, but the latter is very common. Anybody know if there is an agreed upon difference between the two terms?
