We have, undoubtedly, the best health care system in the world...
For the well-off. Everyone else is fooked.

Reform starts with piecemeal replacement of the irresponsible obamakare mess. When the pubs actually propose something then maybe you might have a leg to stand on. And universal healthcare should be a Conservative issue. Everyone having access to healthcare lowers the overall cost. It also levels out the playing field for U.S. businesses in competition with other local and foreign companies.

Has anyone actually sat down with their primary physicians and discussed this whole mess? I know what mine says about it, but was interested in other views.

In '08 and '12, they donated more to Dems than Repubs, which would be hard to argue means they support the health-related cornerstones of right wing campaigning. I 'd imagine their views are similar to the demographics they represent outside of the profession, via income, gender, and type of employer. At least, that's what research would indicate.

Physicians are concerned with the declining reimbursement rates and the push from their medical groups, insurance companies, and medicare to see more patients per hour. I think that most medical groups will have to go to the kaiser method where the patient first sees a nurse practitioner or physician's assistant before a doctor is called (if required).

all this paperwork takes away 35% of his time for patients. Wait periods are way too long. At the end of April I set up an appointment for a physical. August 24th. Normally I would have seen him in less than 2 weeks. Yeah. This is progress. And I am still looking into concierge doctors.
