ESPN 5-star PF has moved from Barrell, AK to Portland, OR. High potential, mid major offers right now. Has visited Oregon, plays PF as does MJ Cage and Kavell Bigby-Williams www.verbalcommits.com/players/kamaka-hepa

Believe we have made offers but knowing our track record with getting 5's to sign . Would you add a transfer that may have to sit out 2016 -17 but have 3 or 2 to play starting with 2017 and a grad transfer for 2016 ?

This part of the forum is suppose to be for SDSU and MWC. Everything here (along with a few other threads) is off topic and should be posted in the off topic/non MWC section. Wish the mods would enforce this and move all these unnecessary threads. No problem with the guy who does this but please stop flooding this section with with non-sdsu information.

Not a question of talent . Question is who coming to visit SDSU ? That is the problem right now is there is no information anywhere on who the coaches are talking to.There are plenty of super talented players out there all the fans can hope is that the coaching staff is putting in the extra hours to fill these two roster spots. The UT should talk to the coaches and see what they are up to.

Dutch was at the Adidas event this weekend, not sure if Hutson was in Brooklyn, about half of these guys have been tied to SDSU looked at or offered. Most of SDSU recruiting is done behind the scenes. I know Fish and Dutch like to lock in on a few kids and then Woo them.

There has been some sanctioned AAU events that out coaches have gone out and watched . The very big ones also happen during the July weekends- Evaluation Periods - where the coaches can go watch these events . Watch but no personal contact . In the past, Visits start happening or get lined up in August - Sept-Oct . As mentioned coaches can not comment about a recruit until they actually sign in Nov . So we may get some information from Zeigler in the UT .
So a lot of chatter about looking or offering...... but we do not know who is really interested in SDSU ....- until visits are announced by the recruits .

Impressive numbers for McCoy and Ayton who play on the same AAU Cali Supreme team. Together averaged 45.5 ppg, , 23.5 rpg, 3.5 apg + 3.0 bpg while shooting just over 64% FG.

As McCoy continues to improve his stats the more the higher level teams will be pursuing him .

Not sure if the Aztec have interest in Mayan Kiir, but his stock is rising. 4-star ESPN, just offered by LBSU as well as Lousville, VCU, Illi. On scout.com, what he is looking for in a college “Education and playing right away."

Kiir would seem to be some one Aztec coaches may take a good look at during the evaluation periods
