I have a large (39 inch) KC monitor used with my computer. All of a sudden, the top 40% or so of the screen has become noticeably darker than the remaining 60%, It's as if I had turned down the brightness using the unit's menu. I assume that there is something wrong with the monitor and that I will have to get a new one. Thought I would see if anyone else had experienced the same phenomenon. (Using the monitor controls does not solve the problem, which does not surprise me.)

How old is the monitor?
Have you tightened the connecting cables?
Other message forii specific to the brand?
That is where I usually start.

Hi there. I think that you should have your video monitor check if you really don't know what is wrong with it. You should bring it to a shop near your town to have it checked.
