We have recruits from La Lumiere, Mater Dei, Findlay Prep and Bishop. This is a great west coast class. Who is at Fairfax HS? and Serra Canyon has Cody Riley and Ira Lee, those kids are going places! hshoopselite.wordpress.com/rankings/hshoopstop25/...would love to have Zabo help recruit fellow Canadian Nolan Narain. Is it coach Hut with the Canadian connection. At 6'9 or so he is a sleeper but rising.

Yes Coach Hutson has some ties to CIA bounce , not sure how strong . So are you thinking Zabo is going to give guys that ringing of a recommendation of SDSU to other guys from CIA Bounce when he has been deemed player #11 or #12 on the current team , with our less then stellar guard play this year and his shortage of PT ? Not sure of our strength in recruiting at Findlay Prep either ,since we signed Winston .

While many of our fans may not understand while he isn't playing I assure you he's very much aware, and is aware of what he has to do to deserve PT.

Remember Stan, Zabo is a true fresh and might still be getting adjusted to the next step up in competition. Some kids can take a little more time plus with the our team being so deep as well. He seems to be having a good time from what I can tell and Trey mentioned that all freshmen are pretty tight and good friends. We are winning and are headed to the big dance this year. Any player can't ask for more than that.

I agree he seems to have a very positive attitude , think he could contribute to the team this year( many times it seems we really need a PG that can facilitate his team mates) . Just hope he stays and get opportunity to play more this year and has an opportunity next year , with the addition of JH ,plus if all the other guards return TK, MS, DW , would mean 5 guards again .

Just hope he stays and get opportunity to play more this year and has an opportunity next year , with the addition of JH ,plus if all the other guards return TK, MS, DW , would mean 5 guards again .And with injuries to AQ, MS & DP's situation he's well aware how fragile that is, and how you're a second away from more PT.
If AQ weren't graduating there'd be more concern. But he is. DW had a leg up on Zabo, given Zabo not only had to learn the system but adjust to college & the college game. Now he has that under his belt, so would expect him & DW to be on more equal terms going into next year.
JH is a stud, but as we know TK starting as a FR was a rarity, and it didn't last long. Zabo doesn't strike me as a player who needs PT handed to him. He seems like one who wants to earn it. I don't think he'll leave after just one year to go somewhere, sit, with a promise of playing more.

The Aztecs will still need a PG next year. KZ is one of the top candidates and likely to see plenty of PT. Just listen to the coaches and play the way they want you to perform.

Would guess that the coaches have a good conversation with all the guys on the current roster, to see where the coaches see the players in the 2015-16 picture . Some have suggested Aztecs bring in a senior transfer PG , if so would doubt that both KZ or DW return . I think KZ has the talent to be a quality PG ,especially after being in the Aztec program for a year and when you usually show greatest improvement . We will know a lot more in April or May .

Lindsey Drew is at Fairfax, he is going to ASU after year of prep Drew lost his invite when Sendeck was let go. This from Rivals: "...Drew is a prospect on the rise. A 6-foot-3 point guard at Los Angeles (Calif.) Fairfax, Drew is tall, athletic and plays with a physical edge. He's actually a senior, but the plan had been for him to attend a year of prep school at Bradenton (Fla.) IMG before making his way to Tempe. As a class of 2016 kid he was lock for the next Rivals150 but now there is a good chance he ends up a class of 2015 kid and he's knocking on the door of that Rivals150 as well. There are few point guards available and he's a legitimate high major prospect so it is looking like the chances he ends up a Sun Devil are pretty slim..." basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1750427
