I want to know what this truly has to do with the Chargers. Do I really have to explain? The mod can move it if he feels that it should go elsewhere. Feel free to complain or whine to them if you wish. The Board I'm use to has just one forum for NFL/Chargers.

I figured you couldn't think outside the box. Stadiums can be used for much more than just football games. As someone posted, one of the proposals for a new stadium for the Chargers (and maybe Aztecs) could have over 200 events per year. Minnesota is taking it to another level by displaying local art in parts of their stadium. The Cowboys have done similar in theirs in Arlington. A stadium can be a money maker if properly run and marketed.

Yep. When I think paying for seeing art, I think football stadium. Not the excellent art museums at balboa park.

And to be fair Bruce, thinking outside of the box is great, especially if you have this vast, often unused space. But by making this its own thread, it makes it seem like you think this is some major selling point of what another stadium could bring to our city. I don't think I am one of a small minority who says "you can put art in the stadium too, big f'n deal." Pretty sure that aspect will possibly only turn about 3 people who were on the fence about our need for another stadium.

This is only the 4th thread in this forum since the start of the year.
