Without any question, Michael Medved is one of the most intelligent and well-informed radio talk show hosts. All of a sudden he announces that he is under both radiation treatment and chemotherapy. Originally a left-wing activist (I think he was among those in the hotel the night Bobby Kennedy was killed), Medved had by the 80s become a staunch conservative. Among his fellow students in college were Hillary Clinton and Lany Davis. This is terrible news, since Medved is one the most thoughtful and level-headed of the conservative radio personalities. I really enjoy Medved when I happened to find him here in San Diego. He was a mainstay for me when I lived in Seattle.

Medved is a great radio host and one of the best Conservative voices out there. He is intelligent and thoughtful, and not of the angry, "The other side is a bunch of evil bad guys," type.
It would be a huge loss for everyone in the political process if a voice like his were lost.

Medved has been back on the air for a couple of weeks or more. His voice is still not perfect, but I was afraid he would never return. As to the future for him, who knows?

Give him a try. He's on KCBQ locally. You may disagree with his positions, but I'll bet you will respect his knowledge and fairness, especially when dealing with guests or callers who take strong positions in opposition to his. AzWm |

AzWm I might add that he was a liberal when younger and he slowly evolved when he saw that liberal ideas did not work often enough if ever. |
