Rasmussen Predicts Republican Gain of 55 in House... Newport Beach, Calif.—Nationally-recognized pollster Scott Rasmussen last night predicted that Republicans would gain 55 seats in races for the U.S. House of Representatives November 2—much more than the 39 needed for a Republican majority in the House for the first time since 2006. But the man whose Rasmussen Reports polling is watched carefully by politicians and frequently quoted by the punditocracy said that whether Republicans gain the ten seats they need to take control of the Senate is in question. “Republicans should have 48 seats [after the elections next month], Democrats 47, and five seats could slide either way,” www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=39460The old Aztec Joe would be happy about this, but the new BAL Aztec Joe is greatly saddened with this prognostication.

Don't you think the both the Old Joe and the new BAL Joe should be happy with gridlock? Better gridlock than any Republican rule. Here in Washington, the Real Estate Speculator and Bankowner, Rossi faces a ceiling in support of below 50%, because he is well known for his limited intellect and dearth of ideas to help Washington State. In my congressional district, Jay Inslee will crush the party hack the Republicans sent after him. Since Rossi can't get to 50% and Murray currently leads, the chances are good that I will not be represented by a Republican. I have not been represented by a Republican, in any office, (except WA attorney General) for a long time. Thank God. I do not like Republicans. They smell funny.

I will just say I don't know how smart Rossi is. I do know that Patty is dumber than a box of rocks. If Rossi is below that, the entire State is in trouble.
