Don't get me wrong, Shrigs is a good player however I believe DA brings a lot more to the table as far as skill set. Very versatile defender, rebounder, and all around better athlete. Shrigs would provide an instant spark off the bench and DA will still start to develop his offensive confidence the more the coaching staff trusts him with minutes. Discuss

I think you should swallow a bullet. Let's treat our players nicely. No matter how many mistakes they make.

That student manager with the suit and look like James Brown should start over Shrigley.

Shrigley was awful today. Again he had defensive breakdowns in first half and he was shot jacking to start the game. Dakarai is our best SG for sure.

Cause it could negatively affect how he plays, and negatively affect how our team does as a result. Our players read this forum.

DA provides great energy, I think he gives the team that boost off the bench like Polee did last season.
Starting unit should probably be Quinn, Kell, WS, JJ, Spencer.

This team lacks pure shooters (Rahon, Tapley, Thames). I'm assuming this is on the recruiting/transfer wishlist.
Oldie Out

Well let me actually back track and say, it doesn't matter if DA starts or not BUT he SHOULD always be on the floor when the opposing teams best perimeter player is in the game.

DA played his heart out and deserves to start, or at least be mentioned as a possible starter. The DA is officially my favorite, dude brings it! Sent from my SM-G900V using proboards

I may be going over the line since we are only half way through the season, but I don't see how Shrigley stays at SDSU. Pope is coming on and you can see his potential. Dakarai is better than Shrigley now and getting bettet. Kell is a better all around player and getting better. Hemsley will be here next year and will likely run the point. Zylan will be on the floor. I just don't see where he will get minutes.

Our players read this forum. Really aztec10? I doubt the players read the crap we write. But if they do, and IF they are affected negatively, then they should be benched. Top tier players aren't driven down because of "words". I choose to rarely comment on a particular player, but this OP has every right to bring up the topic and he certainly wasn't beating up on Shrigley. Life is tough, and these players---as does everyone else-- need to start learning that sooner rather than later.

Have we lost a game since Shrigley has started for Trey?

Mind you, if his shot selection improves and he's not jacking up 3's because "he's suppose to" I believe he could shoot above 40% from deep.

Our players read this forum. C'mon. I suspect that like most of us here, you played your share of competitive sports in your youth. On that basis, you know when you've played poorly. I'm sure Shrigs is busting his butt. However, it's as clear as the nose on your face, my face and his face that Dakarai Allen has been outplaying him.
