Interestingly, in the same paragraph... tight end Matt Morin signed with ArizonaYes, we already knew this, but it still caught my eye.

Looks like a potential replacement for Terry Poole.

Looks like a potential replacement for Terry Poole. Maybe, but in all the footage he's at RT. I wonder if he, or maybe Slater, can be shifted to the left side. It's also kind of interesting that K. Miller is now on the depth chart as a RT, when he spent most of the year as the second string LT.

Pleased we signed an OL , originally from GA. Key is getting the best 5 OL on the field . Also good to have the guys learn to play various positions so if some one goes down , you can add the next best player . Keep the QB protected and open up holes for the guys running the ball . You can have a good QB but if he does not get the protection can easily limit his production .

Looks like a potential replacement for Terry Poole. That would be an unexpected bonus. You don't usually find someone that developed coming in from JC right into the critical LT spot. Perhaps Pearce Slater can make the transition from RT to LT. I keep wondering if Kwayde Miller is ever going to be a starter. He will be a junior, his time to be someone has come.

He is 6'5 290 as measured on his official visit,a Fall qualifier. If Miller stays healthy he may likely red shirt. Either Kwayde or Pierce will play left tackle.

I wish I was as confident of Slater and/or Miller as you are. We'll see in March. Trying to work though your vague pronoun reference here. Perhaps you mean if Miller says healthy "he", meaning Battle, will redshirt? That would be quite unusual to bring in a JC with two years left and then have him redshirt. Does Battle have three years? Don't see that in his stuff.

Re-ranked at 3 stars, looks like he will help the class and see some action.

Battle can't redshirt - he only has two years left. And he hasn't actually signed yet. He isn't a mid year guy so he can't sign until February.

Another huge lineman, great for the running game. Hmmm....
No spread next season?

The attached article says that Terrell Battle signed with SDSU. But the rivals website does show that he signed-yet. Can anyone confirm that Terrell Battle actually signed with SDSU? Or with the signing of JC propsect Ryan Pope OT out of Long Beach CC, did we replace Battle?...walkonfan...

Seems to be about half way between a road grader and a steam roller.

Hopefully the Offensive line can pass protect a little better next year. They were great for running but our QBs were harassed too early too often.

I detect a bit of positive urgency in the recent recruiting emphasis. Time to kick ass, take no prisoners and stop being Boise's little bro in football.
