Big win for the Chargers. I am concerned about the center position and the next few games are brutal( New England, Denver, San Francisco) I guess the question is, can this team make the playoffs? Lots of teams are chasing that playoff spot.

Lots of teams are chasing that playoff spot. Gives them a 1 game lead and the tie breaker over the Ravens. Huge difference. Nice comeback. Down 10 late and rallied with 2 TDs to win.

It sure is nice to see a San Diego team overachieving despite a boatload of injuries.

Rivers does it again. Easily the #1 QB in NFL w/o a ring.
Unfortunately I don't see him getting onethis year with our current defense.

Offense also seems to have no real rhythm, compared to what they were earlier in the year with Rivers being talked about as a potential MVP candidate.
Something happened at some point mid-season for this team, whether it was the stacking injuries at center, Woodhead getting hurt, corners never seeming to be at 100%, whatever. Something that I noticed about this team is that they seem to play at the level of their opponent. Against the Raiders they didn't play too hot and allowed them to score the most points they have the entire season to date (28). Considering the Raiders have the worst offense in the NFL based on yards/game and points scored/game, that definitely says something. Against the Broncos they played well, moved the ball and scored, but not well enough to win the game. Same story with the Chiefs and Cardinals. Then against the Raiders they played poorly, again, and barely beat the now 5-7 Rams (who are actually better than their record shows).
Sure this team looks good against low ranked opponents, (3 straight wins against Jaguars, Jets, Raiders) with a +53 total point differential, but then 3 straight losses following (against Chiefs, Broncos, Dolphins) with a -54 total point differential. The average power ranking of those three teams they beat in a row is 30.7. The average power ranking of those three teams they lost to in a row is 10.7. Seems like a major point of concern with them if they lose to decent/good teams, but beat bad teams. Obviously they defeated the Ravens this past week on a game-winning drive, but one play going awry and they lose that game.
Not sure how confident I am in the Chargers at the moment, after seeing their entire body of work so far this year.

Like they always say, "It's one game at a time." Right now the Chargers are leading in the wild-card race, and if they maintain they could be in the play-offs.
They played extremely well in the final minutes against the Ravens, and deserve the win!

I am very impressed with Rivers this year. The past two games he has taken a pounding, got up and rallied his team in the 4th quarter.
MVP worthy this year.
