I thought those on the Left were all filled with compassion, understanding, and high-minded thoughts. Apparently not when the Left refers to conservative women. And what's worse, Lefty women seem as bad or worse than Lefty men when it comes to dehunanizing their female opponents. Notice that this strongly worded protest against this practice is by a woman who is very pro-Democrat. Her political views are almost totally faulty, but on this issue she is clear-headed. www.thedailybeast.com/blogs-and-stories/2010-10-08/jerry-brown-and-the-women-hating-liberal-women. AzWm

Did you know that October was originally designated as Domestic violence awareness month? The reason that more people know of it as being Breast Cancer awareness month is because of the pharmaceutical companies. Not saying that its bad but chances are you probably know someone who has experienced domestic violence.
Within our culture there are built in sexual bias words that are used with frequency that would lead an alien to think that there is built in hatred between the sexes. Yet, even the seperate sexes use disparaging words against each other almost as well as the men disparage women and women disparage men. It has been going on for thousands of years, now, and I doubt that it will ever change. We accultureate our young to this war of words and occasional war of fists and set them out into the world ready to call each other names, and hint at the supposedly tarnished character of the other.
My memory of Junior High School was that the girls all started learning the fine art of backstabbing and gossip. Any girl in Junior High School who was in any way socially popular had stories made up about her. Most of those rumors concerned the "fact" that she was a whore, tramp and sleeze. Damn, if the gossip did not get worse (refined in the sharpness of the blade that was inserted in the back.) while the "girls" were in high school.
I have a grandniece who is captain of the JV Cheerleaders in her high School in Maryland. She was devastated that somebody had been telling outrageous stories about her. The amount of emotional pain that she was in really showed in her Facebook postings. So, I sent her a message that described what was happening to her had happened to every beautiful and successful young lady in American public schools that I had seen. She seems to have a better grasp now on why it happens. She still wishes she lived in a perfect world, but that is not to be.
Fact remains that it is part of our culture. Live with it.
