The EPA gives the American Lung Association $20 million and gets propaganda in return. The following add is terribly misleading. The EPA and the ALA's actions are unethical and lies to the American people. CO2 is not a pollutant - it is vital for life. In everyone's lungs CO2 is concentrated at over 30 times the concentration in the atmosphere. Extra CO2 will have ZERO effect on lungs. The ad is talking about CO2 since real carbon pollution already is controlled. Disgusting abuse of power.

Certainly CO2 is vital to life. It can also kill you. Isn't your post a little hysterical? I am sure you remember how the Clean Air Act was going to kill the auto industry. Those mpg goals were completely outrageous. Turns out the air is cleaner, cars get better mpg(my new Accord gets 37mpg on the freeway)and we all still exist. For someone who is an optimistic guy you seem a tad overwrought.

For someone who is an optimistic guy you seem a tad overwrought. The clean air act went after real pollution. O3, SO2, CO, NO, and particulate pollution. All of those have dropped incredibly as they should. CO2 could triple above their highest estimates and it would not effect anyone breathing it. Without Global Warming is not an issue at all. It has nothing to do with clean air. Too much O2 in the atmosphere can kill you too. You must agree: 1. This is a very misleading advertisement. 2. Paying money to the ALA to get have them create this stuff is unethical and an abuse of power.
