For all you people that think it's too expensive to go to games at Petco, the Padres are lowering ticket prices again this offseason: signonsandiego.com/news/2010/oct/07/padres-add-more-lower-priced-seats-2011-further-di/I think it's already affordable as it is, people forget this isn't minor league baseball. I'm sure some of you will only be happy when every seat is 5 bucks, beers are a dollar and the payroll is somehow $100 million. For those of you on the fence though these price reductions should help.

Always liked Petcos prices....much better than the money it costs to catch the Angels here in OC (i root for the other team, hate the Angels).
I go 2-4 times a year and always happily pay for field reserved seats at Petco.
Now.....Chargers tickets......ugh. F that. No wonder theyre blacking out.

When the prices get near zero, they will print more tickets. Kind of like Quantatative easing. If Obama steps in,you could see Club Box seat holders being mugged for their wallets, to buy free tickets for the lower classes.

I'm okay with the ticket prices. Just give me $5 beer and I will triple the number of games I've gone to the last 3 years.

They had $5 beers last season and I'm sure that will continue this season.

I went to more games last season than ever before. i even conveniently planned a couple business trips around some road games. I appreciate the reduce $5 beers at Petco. The year before last they even had a $5 for 5 deal going on. I appreciate that. In this economy the Chargers could learn a lesson or two. I will continue to go to as many games as i can at Petco. I'm even going to go to my first spring training and hopefully make a couple road trips. Let's see what new ownership/mgmt has to offer.

Nothing beats being able to see a major league ball game for only $5 with the park pass. Plus there's plenty of room to stand with great views of the field.

Might as well just go to the Western Metal and make friends (tip big) with some of the bartenders. They'll give you large beers/cocktails for next to nothing if you come to 1-2 games per homestand, reasonably mind your manners and aren't a drunken idiot.
