Uwaztec will want to comment on this. The narrator should have said deer and elk rather than just deer, but for the most part this is pretty amazing. The Ranchers outside the parks northern border in Montana don't like the Wolves for good reason, but this is really interesting. www.youtube.com/embed/ysa5OBhXz-Q

Really interesting animals. I have worked with one of the Montana wolf researchers. She has some interesting stories about meeting the local ranchers in the local bar after work on some nights. Mostly friendly banter after initial bad vibes. Some education on both sides actually occurred. If you want to see some of the most intense predation footage ever taken, watch BBC's "Frozen planet". Go to Youtube and search for the sequence of wolf predation on bison. One hungry female against a yearling bison that outweighs her by 10x. The will to survive (to feed her cubs) is stunning. The battle lasts for more than an hour and the female gets the $#!+ kicked out of her. You think she is dead more than once, but she prevails.

I know a guy out at Potrero who helps raise Wolves. I haven't been out there to check out what's going on but his photos on facebook of the wolves and him are pretty amazing.
