Wrong board. Yearbooks have been edited, even in California, since at least my era. It is clear that you have no clue about the viciousness of the Taliban to equate them to some local value Mormon's sensibilities. Completely without context and borderline religious bigotry. Maybe they're not literally Taliban, but altering yearbook photos looks like a step in that direction. Look at those ladies' quotes they said they felt violated. Altering yearbook photos now what's next, burqas? "Community standards" whatever, it's still wrong what they did to those girls.

I get upset when schools fail our students so completly, in education, that half of the students in some schools never finish. I guess we pick what we think is a problem. I am sure there are very many parents around the country who would love to have their children in that school even if their pictures might be adjusted.

Well, I didn't read that article but I'd have a hard time seeing an equivalent of a massive international enterprise of murder, subjugation, torture, and the like going on right now that equates to the campaign being waged by the various factions of radical Islam.
