This article confirms what we have been hearing. He is a 4 star recruit according to Scout and ESPN. Babiash is a very solid defensive back and well-rounded in terms of mental and physical ability. He has the size, speed and football savvy to develop at either corner or safety at the college level, which position likely depends on scheme and his continued physical development. - ESPN.

Three 4-star Pac-12 transfers. Hmmm. Interesting. I like the implication.

Winning solves everything. Including changing homesick players' perceptions about where to transfer.

Great news and a great trend!
If the NCAA moves to allow transfers, for those in good academic standing, without sitting out one year or allowing folks like Jake to have 6 years to play 4 as is being proposed then SDSU would benefit disproportionately versus most schools.

It appears that the football program is picking up some steam here and utilizing the model used by the basketball program. I don't remember hearing about this many high quality transfers coming to SDSU in the past. Any thoughts on this?

Consecutive wins against Boise State, consecutive Bowl appearances, our ability to develop NFL caliber players from 0-3 star HS recruits, our emphasis on family and accountability, running pro-style offenses and tough defenses. Makes the Aztec football program very attractive. Oh yeah, you can't beat the weather and the beach. Oldie Out

Crazy. FOUR transfers from the Pac-12 at the same time? I'm really curious now...is there a particular SDSU coach who keeps an eye out for Pac-12 players who feel disappointed/disgruntled with their playing time? Not even Boise State or Fresno State could brag about gaining this many transfers...from the Pac-12 alone, no less.

The Pac-12, if you can't join them...take their players.

You can not transfer within the Pac 12,so if you want to stay close to the west Coast its Fresburg or SDSU or San Jose. I am sure some NorCal or SJ Valley guys look at Fresno, but were the obvious choice. They shot down the transfer deal however, one lawsuit and that could change. Myself I think the non BCS schools should tell the NCAA look you love the big uys fine we will take their transfers no waiting.

The P5 is most likely going to change the transfer rule so a guy does not have to sit out a year if they transfer ,except you can not do it within the conference . Could the MW do the same or need the NCAA to approve it ?

PAC and other P5 schools are going to go to a no sit transfer rule (believe if you do not go to a school in the same conference) . It will be very important for the MW to adopt the same rule or do we get stuck with the current NCAA rule . The Power nots need to unite and ask that they be allowed to adopt the same rules . Very least MW needs to vote to let each school decide on its own or do as the AAC Conference has already said , we deserve to have the same rules as the P5 .
