I remember him coming on board. His son went to the Air force Academy. Don't remember if he played football.
There are many guys like him that have been involved with Aztec Football.
It is up to the younger fans to carry on for them. I am telling you to get involved to meet some of these new guys who have stepped up for a lot of great men and woman. You are missing out on meeting some very good people.
I was told by Dave L that a lot of these good people are still involved. I ran into a Broad member from the 70's in Vegas. I am telling you when some hangs in there for 40+ years that is a big deal.
Most of you have never seen losses like many of us older guys. It is not easy to be an Aztec fan.
We should be the one's complaining.

I never had the pleasure of meeting this gentleman, but I do remember hearing about him and his work for my school. RIP sir, and many thanks.

Jim was a behind the scenes person. He was our third all-time Faculty Rep to the NCAA and did the NCAA eligibility certification with a staff of himself and a clerk. His attention to detail and understanding the complex rules deflected a number of audits and inquires. His reputation and integrity with NCAA Enforcement helped State numerous times. Lucky to have sat next to him at Aztec Football the past 27 seasons
