I take it that means French was not the right answer? A shy tenative Russian?  At that time it must have been. I don't want to take the chance of getting jumped on like Joe.  Yes, I take a lot of pride of my Dad's time at the Army language school. He was in big demand for the Russian during the late 50's / early 60's of course. He taught a lot of Generals the basics there. And those in the know...... know how I love those same tired old jokes about the French....since I am a bit on the Froggy side. |
