All that matters Saturday is to get a W. Style points are nice but we always win ugly.

Shepard and O'Brien had horrid games - terrible decision making, weak and stupid plays, lackadaisical effort, multiple failures to guard. Their negatives nearly cost the team the game.
Thames gave everything, as did Polee, Davis and Spencer. Quinn was a non-factor. Shrigley had some nice moments.
Give credit to NMSU and Coach Menzies; his main strategy was to make Shepard and O'Brien beat them with outside moves. It nearly worked.
It's a good thing that multiple guys on this team have the hearts of a champion; a few even have the head of one.

Nmsu was a bad matchup. Bigs are an achilles heel for us. Ndsu will be tough but i think ndsu is a better matchup since they are a jumpshooting team. Creightonlike.

If we play like this saturday we are going to get humiliated again... Glad we got the win but a piss poor effort tonight we absolutely sucked balls. Time to give credit to the other team. Their strength coming in was/is our weakness. Big guys change the game inside. Next game is next game. NDSU is a media darling now with the first win in their state's history, but Oklahoma's defense sucks. We will not take them lightly and we will put it together. |

Ask Louisville....Louiville has the luxury of being complacent...they have banners in their stadium...We don't! Didn't like the lack of sense of urgency...NM St. should have been put away long ago. I agree with oldie...does not bode well for upcoming games....sorry! no one cares what you think, you lost any credibility a couple of posts ago. gtfooh I'm highly skeptical of some of the newbies posting here tonight. Started strong in 1H: 6 assists, 3 TOs, 9-10 FTs
2H was a different story with the 14-3 run, 3 assists, 8 TOs, 5-7 FTs
OT: 0 assist, 0 TOs, 7-10 FTs
Need to keep the pressure on for the full 40 mins and we get to play next weekend.
