Obama represents a desire to take over a very large percentage of the U.S. economy and society. The czar phenomenon is a clear indication of that desire.

Put simply, the Democrats, in general, are quite comfortable with authoritarian government. They will be in charge, of course, since the vast majority of the American people simply are not capable of leading their own lives without a "helping hand" from government.
