How is this dude any worse than our Bush family friends allies in Saudi Arabia? He (Kim) has nukes. The Arabs don't. He (Kim) doesn't have oil. The Arabs do. He (Kim) has a hard on to conquer S. Korea. The Arabs are smart enough to know that attacks on their neighbors (Israel) won't be tolerated. Although the current administration seems to be softening that stance. Kim also has a massive army of millions, so if it comes to conventional warfare they are not to be taken lightly. Plus, China, our creditor (thanks to the current administration) has their back. Bush had it right, they are one of the axis of evil and a national threat. The Arabs aren't.

The Arabs do have oil, but that makes their actions less despicable? Attacks on their neighbors? The Korean War was about as long ago as us nuking Japan. Ask Yemen or Iraq if Saudi Arabia has a hard on for attacking their neighbors. I believe you mean SA is smart enough to generally be our ally (besides providing material support for terrorists), in which case, how does that make their acts against citizens better than KimSungRodman? Your last point, again, doesn't really address human rights. But while we're at it, the N Korea-S Korea divide has been about US-Russia Cold War proxying for decades, less so US-China. Regardless of the accuracy or inaccuracy of your posts (which is irrelevant), I will once again ask, why is one leader oppressing their citizens and violating American principles of human rights any more vile than another? Or is it typical neocon thinking for you - okay when the US and our allies do it, but despicable when someone who plays for the other team does it?

The very simple declaration in the OP is that "North Korea leader is sick, sick, sick." Instead of agreeing or disagreeing, you launch a tu quoque line of thought. tu quoque
You avoided having to engage with criticism by turning it back on the accuser - you answered criticism with criticism.
Literally translating as 'you too' this fallacy is also known as the appeal to hypocrisy. It is commonly employed as an effective red herring because it takes the heat off someone having to defend their argument, and instead shifts the focus back on to the person making the criticism.
Tell us if you agree with the OP or not, or if you think there is an acceptable excuse for his behavior.

Tell us if you agree with the OP or not, or if you think there is an acceptable excuse for his behavior. I don't give two flying sh&"s about North Korea or their leader. Probably the only world leader shorter than you, if that means anything. When some Korean dictator in Pyongyang does it, and when we do it in Cuba or our "allies" do it in the ME... Disgusting actions should be met with the same vitriol. I know for many of you neocons it isn't. Just pointing out the hypocrisy. Wonder if KimSung told his people he tortured his uncle for "national security" reasons, or to stop "terrorism". That would have to make it okay, right?

The public of nK are the ones starving. Sent from my DROID RAZR using proboards Stu: I just saw a documentary on Netflix in which a number of NK defectors were interviewed. At least one of them was an ex career officer in their army. He is the one who said that the army was starving and would steal food from villagers when they went on maneuvers. I know that you are 'connected' so maybe the person interviewed in the video was a NK plant. Do you have any links?

I wonder how many refugees make it from N Korea to Russia, compared to the number that try China instead.
